M1 Machining is proud to announce the release of our New 80% M1-80 FORGED AR 15 Lower Receiver. The M1 Machining .223/5.56 NATO 80 percent lower receiver is machined from a Forged 7075-T6 aluminum to military specifications tolerances. These are Forged not Billet.
We currently offer two finish options:
- Machine finished (also known as Raw 80% AR 15 lower receiver);
- Hard coated in black (known as Anodized 80% AR 15 lower receiver).
All that is left to do is mill out the fire control pocket, the trigger group and drill a few holes. **Our Forged Lower Receiver currently does NOT fit our Universal Milling Jig. We are in the process of releasing our new Milling Jigs.
Once complete you will have a fully functional M1 Machining .223/5.56 NATO Stripped AR 15 Lower Receiver compatible with DPMS platform upper receivers. This is a top-tier AR-15 80% lower receiver perfect for any high quality AR-15 build.

• Flared magwell to improve mag changes.
• Threaded Bolt Catch pin for ease of installation. Threaded pin included
• Threaded rear takedown pin hole. Set screw included
• NO FFL is required for purchase, item can be shipped directly to your home.
• As determined by the firearms technology branch of the ATF, this lower receiver is not classified as a “firearm” as defined by the GCA of 1968.
Because 80% Lowers are not considered firearms by the ATF, we can ship them right to your front door with no FFL required... but finished rifles must meet all applicable laws and you must be able to legally own a firearm. When I opened the box of the 80% lowers I ordered I had to recheck who they were from because I ordered blemish 80% lowers and I couldn't find a single blemish. I don't understand how these guys do it, they make a remarkable product at the least cost anywhere exactly the same in every way except for the fact that I haven't found a single blemish on my blemished 80% ar15 lowers and they even have even higher quality aluminum than many.
